Your role

We are looking for an experienced Medior Front End Developer who is able to bring our product to the next level. As we are going from startup to scale-up, we are looking for someone who can lead the front-end development for our platform. Our team is strong, dedicated and diverse. We work intensively to succeed together.

 

Your challenge as frontend developer in this journey is to create a fantastic user experience on all popular browsers (including internet explorer 10 ;) ) and mathematically precise data visualisation of both hard data (sensor data) as well as soft data (survey data). Through pragmatic, yet clean and maintainable code.

What you'll be doing

  • Create extensible, clean and maintainable code for our clients’ user experience;
  • Implement new features and make sure that they are thoroughly tested;
  • Work side by side with our back-end developers to connect the UI to our server-side API;
  • Collaborate with our UX/UI designers on the look and feel of the UI;
  • Make an impact in our fast, agile development and release cycles;
  • Use your experience to weigh in on decision making processes;
  • Help your peer developers improve by spreading your knowledge throughout the team;
  • Can thrive under pressure, in a dynamic environment with multiple deadlines
  • Are a positive, fast learner who can quickly grasp complexities;

Requirements

Besides being a great person, we would also like that you:

  • Have at least 2-5 years of experience building web applications;- Have strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript;
  • Have experience with modern javascript frameworks, preferably React; 
  • Have experience with Flux based state containers, preferably Redux
  • Ideally have some experience with functional programming, asynchronous javascript and/or Promises.
