React Native Developer

Job description

Who are we?

We, Healthy Workers, are here to improve wellbeing at work. Why? Because we believe that everyone should be at their best in and outside the workplace. With our holistic approach and data-driven tools, we’re able to measure all factors that influence employee wellness and health. Through smart, scientific, and evidence-based analyses, we’re able to present data-driven insights that increase workplace wellbeing and productivity effectively.

Our product

Our mobile Healthy Workers app is up and running. With this, it’s possible for the workforce to share feedback about the workplace with their employers and us. We compare the workplace data with international benchmarks. This way, employers know what to improve first. And guess what, employees love it. But being up and running is not enough for customers. They want more. More features, more insights, more value. And that’s where you come in.

The position

You, our new colleague to be, will help us add the features that our customers need to get the most value out of our solution. Your seamless implementation of new visuals and functionalities will amaze us and above all, our customers. Every time you connect your newly written code to our public and private API, the app comes alive. And obviously, you provide awesome feedback to our design team based on your experience in the mobile field.

Who are you?

If you are ‘just’ a damn good React Native developer, you’re the one we need. Experience is important, but it isn’t everything. We prefer that you are willing to learn. And that you are equally willing to teach. You like working in an agile team and love the sometimes-crazy-yet-super-rewarding world of an early-stage startup. Yes, we are constantly adjusting, but you cannot wait to contribute to our solution that will shake up the world of work.

To have a running start at Healthy Workers, it would be helpful if you:

  • have extensive experience with Javascript and React Native
  • have an analytic mind and structured problem-solving approach
  • have an opinion on how to write great code but are willing to learn and to adjust
  • have a good understanding of development standards and best practices
  • are a fast learner who can grasp complex subjects quickly

It’s also great if you:

  • have experience with mobile app releases on both iOS and Android
  • have experience mentoring and/or leading developers

What we offer

We expect the best from you, so you can expect the best from us, too. Practice what you preach, right? Here are some highlights of our employment package:

  • Full-time employment with a competitive salary
  • A healthy work environment in the dynamic startup environment of B.Amsterdam
  • The opportunity to leave your mark on global workplace wellbeing and performance
  • A fun and dedicated team of colleagues
  • Unlimited vacation days
  • Free lunch
  • Flexible working hours
