Your role

We are looking for a Senior Back End Developer who will work in our small and powerful team to take our product to the next level. As we are going from MVP to a scaling business, we need someone to empower us in the back-end development of our platform. Our team is a real family, where we all work closely together and are all equally responsible for our success. This is thé moment to join, as we will grow significantly in the upcoming year.

Besides having the relevant experience, we are looking for a team player that thrives in a cross-disciplinary team. You'll have access to plenty of external resources such as cloud credits, technical architects and on-demand development capacity.

  • Work with business and research stakeholders;

  • Create and maintain a clean API for internal use;

Healthy Workers continuously measures stressors in the work environment using sensors and scientifically validated data collection methods. Employees are closely involved and we’ve developed a web-based application via which they provide input and receive messages, personal data and other content. Both employees and employers get insight into well-being, workplace stressors and workplace performance. These insights and real-time data can be viewed in the web application and dashboards for stakeholders.

Besides being a great person, we also like that:

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a back-end developer;

  • You have strong experience in object-oriented programming, database design and MV* web frameworks;

  • You are a positive, fast learner and you quickly grasp complexities;

  • You can thrive under pressure, in an ever-changing environment with multiple deadlines;

  • You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and help out your team members;

  • Prior experience with the Spring ecosystem is a big plus.
